Experience
I attended Wheaton College where I acquired my bachelor's degree in philosophy. While at Wheaton, I also minored in bible/theology. Upon graduation, I traveled to South Korea, where I taught English to South Korean students. I noticed how they dramatically improved in their writing and speaking skills. This was a major accomplishment for both my students and myself.I also have experience working with students who want to improve their written essays. I can help a student figure out his/her writing weaknesses and strengths while giving the student ideas and suggestions that can help the student master his or her writing. Along with English and writing skills, I also have experience working with students who need assistance in test preparation. I have helped many students improve their ACT scores. I truly enjoy teaching all subjects and learning all subjects. My main goal is to clarify information for students and give them a sense of achievement. When I am not busy teaching, I thoroughly enjoy exploring nature. I also love playing board games and reading, specifically non-fiction books. I currently reside in Warrenville, Illinois.
